It's Saturday and it's time to start preparing to head back to school. When we return on Monday we will head back full force, STAAR is just around the corner. My poor little ones have worked hard this year and we still have more work ahead of us. The week before spring break they were busy little bees working on their Open House Projects. Those snow days were great while they happened but it sure did put us behind on all our work. The good thing is Open House was moved to the week we return back from Spring Break. Only a handful of them are done with their projects. I got this idea from Pinterest, imagine that, Pinterest is a teachers best friend. I took a few different ideas and put them into one, the kids chose their own individual to research for their biography, created their own Biography Lapbook and then had to create a Biography Hanger Person of their individual. They really enjoyed themselves. It was a lot of fun seeing their ideas come out and them talking about all the different individuals they were learning about. This is just one of the students work that has finished so far. Can't wait to see the rest of them.
